I tried it and got decent results with pole beans, squash, and corn @
1 each per square. I think 64 in a aft box would work *IF* your soil
was real good the only drawback I see is getting all the ears pollinated
properly. Either way remember to give them a shake each day after they
tassel out and it should work. Watering shouldn't be a great problem if
you have a small watering wand on your hose or some such contraption to
reach in to the inside squares.
