I have been selling at farmers markets for several years. I have all raised
beds and sell mostly herb plants and vegies and cut flowers. An average
season is 12 Sat. mornings and we average around $250.00 per Sat. I also sell
some bird houses and other wood projects. You should be able to make a little
money with your endevors. I would suguest green peppers, tomatoes, cherry
tomatoes, onions (green) and beets as good sellers. The best sales for us are
cut flowers. I would say 75% of our sales are for cut flowers at 12 stems for
$5.00. I love the market and the people that attend. Without question the
money is only secondary to the experance.
