I had to laugh at Ron's tomato recipe. I have very fond memories of coming
home from school as a child and doing this from my parents garden...at the
time, the only good thing about working in their garden, I thought. But here
I am about to start one of my own and I'm sure my children will feel the
same way :)
BTW, in my tomato sandwiches, I spread the bread with soft cream cheese and
mayo, then sprinkle on bacon bits and put lettuce...They are my favorite!
There's nothing like it with REAL tomatoes.
