sorry I can't recall the name now ( Steven ?? -- founder of Territorial
Seeds) made the point that
much of the residues are likely in the cottonseed oil (sold as foodstuff,
check ingredients on baked goods) which is extracted from the seed  and not
in the by-product cottonseed meal which is sold as a soil builder/etc. Not
sure how this might relate to hulls.
