        G'day All

         SOFT no way!!!, pick those little fellas when they are a good dark 
green and their spikes are still sharp (you know those real little spikes) Dont 
listen to your husband...have you ever felt a soft cucumber in the shop???

        For all those americans still suffering through winter it has been a 
funny year down here but the cucumbers, marrows, zuchinis etc have been just 
great!!!. we have had thousands(ok i am exagerating)

Can someone tell me when cucumbers are ready. I thought
you just waited til they got a good size but my husband says 
they have to go soft! What's the truth of the matter?
