Speaking of zones -- I notice that some folks list their zone with an a or
b after it. Is "Zone 6a" just shorthand for "the cold part of Zone 6"? Or
are there sub-zones that are defined as specifically as the major zones? I
ask because I live in a part of Vermont that is on the cusp, so to speak,
of Zones 3 and 4 -- in fact, I seem to jump from northern Zone 4 to
southern Zone 3 depending on which version of the map I'm looking at.
Thanks,
Drea
