RE: Tomatoes in South Carolina

I would like to thank everyone for the education on growing tomatoes, I now understand a little more about the weather/temperature and the tomato. The odds are I won't have tomatoes in May because of the heat factor, unless I use containers and bring them indoors, which is a possibility. Now my question is how big of a container is recommended?

Thanks again for the information...

BTW I have planted a 4' square on 2/7/98 with lettuce / radishes / spinach and carrots. so far one type of radish (Burpee's Cherry Bomb) is up and 1 lettuce plant (Park's Green Ice).
