Diatomaceous Earth is ground up fossils and sea shells.  All natural.  It is
a very fine powder.   We purchased some to use in our grain storage.
Apparently any bug crawling over it, is cut and then begins to dehydrate and
dies. It is not harmful to humans to get a little in their diet. I did hear
that gardeners are beginning to use it in their gardens, but I haven't done
so yet. From what I understand, you just sprinkle it on the soil around your
plants.  I was planning on trying it this year.

I purchased some from a website on line.  If anyone is interested, I can
send the URL.  It was not costly.
