The only trouble I had was from trying to update my software for Y2K!  After I upgraded my Internet Explorer, whenever I tried to dial out I'd get a fatal error and my computer would crash.  I finally gave up and switched to Netscape--which as a bonus came with a neat
web-page program with lots of garden-related graphics.  I plan on having lots of fun with it during the off season.  (Trying to stay on topic!)
