me what features would be useful to you I will incorporate them.
First, no round 5 gal buckets. It only encourages 'them.'
Second, I have been very interested in Access.
Which do you propose to use? I may be interested in assisting.
Best feature, is ability to add on a feature thru' a link portal.
(I'll check the term... i.e. "Add-On" box, like Fill in the blanks, indicate
links, then clikck on "Add Feature."
I feel Access MAY be the easiets NEARLY full-featurted, user friendly
database. So easy to drag a link, too.
1) I would want min 10 year tracking of plant/area relationship.)
(Incl what varietal was in that spot.)
2) Killer feature would be a subset database to input plant characteristics,
as we saw them. Height, width (planting row distance) Dist btwn plants (may
not apply to sq ft)<chuckle>
3) Plant characteristics per soil, water, type, fert req'd, season,
germ rate, date planted, temps desired, sun shade.
4) Plant yield per each. or per sq ft.. if preferred.
5) I input rain and sun to my database. Presently I mis-use Excel.
I've found no retail programs of any worth.
Cutsey, that's all. One does this, the other, that.
I enjoy somewhat being able to enter the inner sactum, still,
to see a square on Excel drawn in which represent an area of
the yard, upon which I can click, is nice. I've 'drawn' the
entire yard and house with the most RUDIMENTARY Excel skills...
It caused me to reinvent the system, before I knew it existed,
per se. It was a 5x5 system.
