I agree with the line of reasoning you use, Lisa.  However,
I am on an Aquaponics group.  One fellow complained about
the Hydroponics discussion... which is fully half of the
total system.  (LOL!)  He only wanted to discuuss the
Aquaculture side/subsystem, which is a whole sustem in
itself.

I can see the other side. It is NOT 'excatly' Sq Ft.
(Does Mel address fans, timers, seedlings?)

In any event, it's happened before, and again, and now
I've missed a post which may have been interesting.

So if you think it's not ON Topic, and you're a purist
that way, I respect that.  It does show courtesy for
those (who unlike Lisa and I) are not information mongers
and are in the hundreds which are on this site for Sq Ft.
I respect respectful people.  So I made a List.

If YOU have a Quazi On_Topic Issue...
maybe there's not one guy who wants to discuss it, but 3.
Go here.  Use it for the duration you desire.  A day,
a month.  Maybe it will become the Techno-Side of
gardening.  AND we can post Links to our Home Sites,
Favorite sites, etc.  Digest mode is available,
which will (I am told) ne in ListBot someday.
They accidentally UnSubbed me for a day or two when
I asked unless you had a day or two that was very quiet.
I can see no reason Sq Ft left egroups.  Maybe an 'add'
advantage for the moderator?  I see no advantage to
the subscriber.  Oh well...  Would be glad to hear
about it, here or... at An-OT-Garden... :>)

  A Near OFF TOPIC Garden List. If timers, spreadsheets,
databases, N,P,K.pH test kits, compost, etc seem OT,
use this List. Small amounts of heavy equipment may be
mentioned, so as to provide a forum to request a Link.
Disagreements are welcomed, even encouraged, but MUST
be made with the UTMOST tact and respect of individuals!
