   Does anyone have any knowledge of what problems might arise if I used old
railroad ties to edge my beds.  There is supposed to be some extensive
repairs done on the spur beside my garden and I plan to ask them to dump the
ties my way.  They would roll right down into place.  God knows the tracks
in our area need repair.  The engineers refuse to travel the recommended
speed they are that bad.
