It is not true that we only have green tomatoes in Wisconsin. I have been
growing them for years and have always had plenty of red ones to enjoy. I
live in a little village just 20 minutes north of Janesville, called
Cambridge. I have 2 established rose gardens, a growing kitchen garden,
periennial gardens around the pool area and am creating new beds in the
fountain area: lilies, periennials, roses and herbs. My only regret are the
long winters. . .they allow too much time for dreaming and not enough for
gardening.
