I suggest a Garden Weasel.  No, not the thing on home shopping.  A
ferret or its cousin.  It'll go down the hole and eat the little
buggers.  (I don't recommend weasels in the wolverine or polar bear
categories if you have children that you're fond of or other pets,
plus they dig holes larger than a square foot garden is set for).

In a few weeks, I'll start my peppers under the lights.  One way
or another, I'll have Jersey Habaneros.
