I also like Territorial's catalog the best because of the useful information
they provide in the catalog.  But I buy most of my seeds from Native
Seeds/SEARCH  and Johnny's.

Favorite gardening sites (besides my backyard) are the USDA cooperative
extension sites maintained by the land grant universities.  If you go to
http://www.reeusda.gov/1700/statepartners/usa.htm
then select a state, by following the hyperlinks you can find all sorts of
fact sheets and planting schedules for almost any region in the US.  For
example, if you select "Utah", then select "Utah State University
Extension", then select "Garden and Yards", this brings up
http://www.ext.usu.edu/garden/index.htm
which has a list of dozens of pages on topics about gardening in Utah.  You
can do this for any state but each state has its own way of organizing their
site (no standardization).  Most won't show up on search engines and you
need to follow the links to find your topic.

I've really liked www.cooksgarden.com, so I ordered their catalog but
haven't received it yet. I like all the heirloom seeds and fairly lengthy
descriptions on each plant. Their started out collecting lettuce seeds and I
found them while looking for a particular European lettuce. Any suggestions
on catalogs that carry plants well suited to Utah? Also, I wonder what your
favorite gardening sites are.
