Hello Summer,

Good to hear you liked your dealings with Pinetree. Did you mean they do put
as much in each packet? On their web site they say "I started the company in
my attic in 1979 to supply home gardeners with smaller seed packets at lower
prices. This remains a focus. In many cases our prices will be a third of
those of our competitors. You will receive just the right amount an
adventurous home gardener will want to grow of a single variety." Is that
your experience with them or did you think they gave you as much?

I think the square foot gardening method lends itself particularly well to
trying a little bit of many things, so Pinetree's philosophy is fine by me.
Even if they give me less, it'll probably be more than I can use this year.
I also have a nice arrangement with a few friends and relatives: we buy 6
packs of tomatoes, cukes, eggplant and other crops we don't want to start
from seed, then we split them. Everyone gets a variety of plants, and we get
to visit each other's gardens!!!

I can't wait for spring!!!
