Jo and everyone- Yuck!- the only thing I can think of that sounds nastier
that a "poopsickle" is one that has thawed out! BTW -a friend that has had
herbal gardens for years gave me this tip to keep the kitties out of the
beds- she says to take 6-10" sticks and stick them in the ground every 6
inches or so all over the flower and veggie beds with about 2-4 inches
sticking out. The cats don't like stepping on and around them and go find
somewhere else to potty. She says the plants grow over the sticks and by
that time the dirt is covered and the cats have moved on. I think I'll try
it. My boyfriend got a potty box just for outside(Is that sweet or
what?-well -two of the offending cats are his-he lives across the street!)
and guess what ?-the cats are not at all interested. I am thinking about
putting dirt and compost in them instead of cat sand!I hate to bring this up
but a cat box in the garden is just one more source of manure for that old
dog of mine to get at!Lord I sometimes wonder why I love these animals so
much - if my boyfriend had breath that bad -I 'd sell him for a quarter -
but I let this old girl sleep in my bed and she gets kisses on the nose--
poop-breath and all- she's 14 and a love. Thank goodness she not a
licker!-Stay warm and I hope you all got boots!-Teri
