You're sending messages in some sort of HTML text...and some email programs
don't communicate with other varieties of HTML very well.

For most of us, there's a way to reset the format to 'plain text' or
'ascii.' I not sure that's possible if you're using AOL 6.0...or they've
merely made it difficult to find that feature.

When I had trouble finding the right email formatting feature, I would try
to reply to a message that was already in the right format (like this one,
in plain text) and change the To:address, Subject, and *then* write my
message. Lots of cut-and-pasting was involved...but doable...and very easy
as the plain text messages become more common within a group.

On some messages, I see some inadvertent codes, such as, "=20" , throughout
some responses. This makes it very difficult to read someones response.
Why
is it doing this? I think my messages are coming out this strange way as
well.
