I would suggest you contact a local cooperative extension agent.
They can help a lot with information that will be local. The
downside would be that a lot of them still suggest the chemical form
of gardening with this and that pesticide. YUKK! Do you intend to
plant any vegetables? If do then I would definitely suggest you

The sub line tells the autoresponder that the sender wishes to
join the ogl list. The help line tells it to send you a list of it's
commands for future use. The end tells it to ignore anything else.
Each of the commands needs to be on a separate line.
The list is unmoderated and many interesting discussions pop up
that are unrelated to gardening.
I notice for some reason I am typing in blue. I can't seem to
correct it. I hope it doesn't come to you in HTML. Hmm! I just
fixed it. Learn something everyday. OGL does prefer regular text as
many mail readers do not handle HTML very well. It is also an
excellent way to sneak a virus into your computer
