OK, requested twice, here the old story in a new package
(it has to do with SQFT -- the list):

Two methods:
     The mundane way:
     -- This is the approved method
          send:  "SIGNOFF SQFT" (in the message body, not the subject)
             To:  LISTSERV@UMSLVMA.UMSL.EDU

    The fun & irreverent way:
          send:  Any message about Mountain bikes
             To:  SQFT@UMSLVMA.UMSL.EDU
             Somebody will spoof you off, gratis.

Method #2 worked for me. I still haven't tried method #1, yet. ;-)
