My SQFT garden is situated at the only open space between tall shade trees both deciduous and evergreen. I figure that it receives direct sun about 50% of the day. Over 20 years I have discovered the plants that tolerate this and trive---most do---but their yield is reduced. The problem changes every year as the tree grow, and last April two tree came down after a storm. I have been able to work arround this problem and would like to share my experiences with others. How do you deal? The light deficiency might be more common at higher latitudes, and tricks in high altitude gardening might be appropriate TIA Bill
