As many of you SQFooter know, I'm a garden writer and avid
gardener.  I've been involved in the start-up of a new gardening newsletter
for the past four months.  It debuts this month with a free issue to
interest you. The front-page lead story is one I put together about the
horrible tomato season of 1996 and how to overcome those problems this year.
In addition, the newsletter contains The Blooming News--a column that
contains news and technology bits such as ancient herb gardens, adding fat
to plants and doing away with lawns in national parks.  There is a recipe
column, and a column on how to grow mesclun in flower pots. If you garden, I
think you will enjoy this newsletter.
