In reference to sqft gardening in the shade what about using pieces of
aluminum foil underneath the plants to direct some more sunlight onto
the plants. I believe Mel describes this process in his book. I think it
says to use either pieces of aluminum foil around the plant to reflect
sunlight onto the plant or to put aluminum foil on to a board to reflect
sunlight onto the plants from the back or side. This way you won't be
limited to growing only shade loving plants. I'm not sure if this is
exactly what Mel suggests but I'm pretty sure its close to it. Has
anyone else tried this?
