Re: nasturtiums

Thanks for the tip, John. Today, WHILE I was in the garden, my first flower opened up. I know they are a humble flower and easy to grow, but it is still exciting. After a few years at this, I may take it all more for granted, but right now I admire everything.

I have transplanted quite large nasturtiums. Try to dig them up with as
large a ball of earth as possible. They do better in poor soil. Mine are
starting to bloom, but the blooms are hidden under the foliage. As the
weather heats up, the blooms will rise above the foliage.
