Hi Francine
Thanks for the response!
NO this isn't our usual weather, we usually have a nice warm to hot spring,
as a matter of fact it's warmer today (wierd) than some of our march days
last year!
We did try Early Girl and Beefmaster last year, we usually try 3 to 6
plants of about 10 varieties.
Our tomatoes are moved around each year and are grown by themselves or with
a variety of companion plants.
Didn't seem to matter last season.
For those on this list that haven't tried "Sweet 100", PLEASE do!
It seems they do well in almost any weather, are a prolific large (1"+)
cherry that tastes and has the texture of a larger variety. (meaty, don't
"squirt" when you bite them)
Be prepared for LONG vines and lots of "grape like" clusters of fruit.
Thanks Again!!
Don
