Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Hi Mary,
Basically I clean the seeds, allow to dry for a couple days, put them in
paper envelopes and label them. Some people use plastic and put a couple
grains of rice in with the seeds to help draw away any moisture as a
precaution. Sometimes I use cardboard/paper coin rolling tubes to store
seed-they are thick, cheap and easy to write on. Some people keep their
seeds in the refridgerator-its supposed to keep em viable for much longer.
I keep mine in a folder marked seeds in my file cabinet. I have my eye on a
50 drawer organizer like you often see at hardware stores-much easier to
organize and find my seeds. Ill probably keep the whole thing in the
produce drawer of my fridge. It is different for different crops and for
different areas-my area has low humidity so I dont have to worry as much
about molding while drying the seeds.
