Re: moles

Square Foot Gardening List - http://myweb.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

Holly,
The only thing that I've found that works for moles is a cat!!! one that
likes to hunt!!?!?! Seriously tho' there are some products on the market
that are made just to get rid of moles, voles and such. It's a spray
repellent of some kind. I did try it around the pool where there was a lot
of digging damage. Can't tell if it worked though. We had voles in our
potatoes a couple of years ago and they didn't leave ONE in one piece. Just
nibbled their way through the entire row! This year I lined the bottom of
our box bed with hardware cloth and we have the best looking potatoes I've
ever grown.
You could try my son's trick. A hammer!!! Yuk!
Good luck,
Cathy
