Square Foot Gardening List - http://myweb.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Welcome to the list, Johnnie M. My hat's off to anybody who fed 80 people
from a 60- x 175-foot garden. That's just awesome.
Re the hybrid tomato 'Park's Whopper,' I always put in one or two of
them. This tom is virtually disease free and cranks out good numbers of
medium-size, unblemished fruit. Johnnie is right about the flavor not
being in the same class as the old heirloom toms. But then they don't put
many fruit on a vine and often succumb to the soilborne blights and wilts, too.
Whoppers are my little tomato insurance policy.
