Do the plants at least have flowers where the fruit should come in. If
not you might halve a real problem. hopefully as summer gets brighter your
plants will decide it is time to go to see which seed is in the fruit. The
only things I halve had trouble with this summer are snails. Small bronze
colored ones. Last year it was slugs. My other problem is something has
put a lot of holes in my eggplant which is beginning to flower. Poor
eggplants look horrible.
