This is worth a try. Last years compost didn't heat up enough and this
year the major weeds in my blocks are tomatoes and cukes. Out of
curiousity I counted as I weed a 1x1 square - 103 tomato plants. We have
13 (4X8) blocks - anyone need tomato plants? Other years we've had
canteloupes reseed but I haven't noticed any peppers or basil. We're in
zone 4/central BC and don't get any snow cover at all.
