While it is true that this is a setting for people's email, it is not
the source of the problem. Keeping a few choice lines from
the previous message is a great way to keep a reply in context.
The problem is when people don't trim (delete) the previous
messages and they just keep getting longer and longer,
Please all, remember to trim anything not directly needed
to be quoted. This includes headers (who from date etc)
and footers (Hi this is sqfoot and how to unsub, ads from the
listbot etc...).
Also if someones comments (like mine right now...)
are rambling on too much, feel free to rephrase (briefly) what
they said, rather then quoting verbatum.
With a few recent exceptions, this group has been doing
great staying focused, brief and on topic.
