Square Foot Gardening List - http://myweb.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Hi Mike,
I'll give the nod to Wisconsin TMR Pickling Cukes. I have six vines and
they are LOADED with cukes. I'll be making pickles for weeks to come.
Also, I have one Greyzini Zuke plant and it's in a nice cycle for me. I
pick one zuke a day for two days and then one day off, and then I start
the two day cycle again. It may not seem like a lot but we're just three here.
However, I have several yellow summer squash that are nearing bloom size
and they are OVERTLY prolific. I like to pick them at a three inch
length so I can crop the whole patch and get a good amount for our
evening meal. I just roll them in beaten egg and bread crumbs then I fry
them up, ultra yum dipped into sour cream mixed with some horseradish.
Trudi
