pick off the bottom tomato leaves and destroy them. They're getting a fungus splashed on them by rain or watering. Mulch around them (not right up against the trunk, though) to stop the splashing. I don't think I'd worry about the squash leaves unless it starts to affect the health of the whole plant. Margaret L
My tomatoes are getting black spots on bottom leaves which quickly die completely. Tops of plants are green and growing. Bottom squash leaves get yellow and mottled and die. Those tops too are green and growing. All are loaded with fruit. Any help would be appreciated. My tomatoes are heirloom varieties.
