re: What to make boxes from
Thank you eveyone for your ideas on materials for raised beds. I am starting
from scratch, so I prefer not to use the pressure treated wood. If I had it
lying around that would be a different story. This is (hopefully) going to be a
fall project for me, so that the garden is ready early next spring.
I picked my first peppers today... both sweet and hot. I have also had lots of
pickings from my greens- oak lettuce, mesclun, spinach, and arugula. My romaine
and bibb lettuce are still too small for picking. They seem to be growing much
slower than the rest. We have also had radishes and should have peas and beans
very soon. Tomatoes are everywhere, but still green.
