Hi Cheryl, > I put my peppers out around June 1. They are still only about 8" tall (I > planted them deep te begin with), and no the chili peppers have no blossoms > and only 1 or 2 of the bell peppers have blossoms.... NUTS... Hopefully > they aren't totally stunted ! No, they don't sound that bad, certainly not stunted. Sure, they're going to grow slower while the weather's cool but when it warms up they'll grow faster. Peppers are slow growers at the best of times. Maybe give them a feed of fish and seaweed if they don't look dark green enough ... > Summers here continually drop below 50, it is the norm, but last years > gardens have been wonderful, but this is my 1st time to start everything > from seed on my own... Next year, start sooner, grow bigger, put out > later... Our mountain climate can be cool in the summer too, we are really at the weather's whim. You can still have a great garden with a few tricks. > Thanks for your input.
