Hi Everyone! I have one Sunburst yellow squash planted in the corner of my SQFT bed. The thing is a monster. The leaves are twice the size of the other squash plants I have planted in another bed. My question is this.....what function do the leaves play in a plant? (Please forgive this question if it is totally stupid?) Are they converting the sun into fruit production? What will happen if I remove some of the leaves? Thanks in advance for your kind words!
