Thanks to everyone who answered my question about transplanting basil
cuttings. I'll put them in a small pot to start and give instructions
to my friends to transplant them to larger pots as needed, etc. Now my
other question is we have tons of fresh basil harvested yesterday and
having never grown it before (or other herbs for that matter) need to
know how to preserve it or dry it or whatever so it doesn't go to
waste. Am also looking for some basil recipes since I've never used
fresh
herbs and don't know much about basil. I must say this plant has done
very
well in our square foot garden. We gave it a square all it's own and
have to trim it back out of the other square around it!
TIA,
Stephanie Green
