I've noticed that my male flowers seem to open faster than my female so
yours may catch up. Also, in spite of the HoneyBee Scare, there seems to be
an increase in Honey Bees in many areas, how about yours? Maybe you will
get some help pollinating?
The commercial Honey Beekeepers are raking in the bucks and have increased
their activity in our area. I suspect that Commercial Bees will soon make
up for the lack of Feral Honey Bees. Though I doubt that this will result
in -my- squash getting pollinated unless I go out and do it myself. Even
when I had my hive right next to the squash, they flew right past and into
the orange trees. 8-(
