Hi all,
About two years ago a fabric store when out of business. At that time I
bought many yards of black tulle -- extremely fine nylon netting. Also called
'bride's illusion'. Black was the only color they had left. I guess not many
brides wanted black for their veils. It was about 10 cents per yard on sale.
Regular 99 cents per yard. 54" wide. This is significantly more than the
prices for light weight row covers, but if you only need a small amount for
covering seedlings in packs for bird or insect protection, it is great stuff
for covering plants and readily available in whatever size pieces you need at
any fabric store. I have been using some pieces for 2 years now, and it is
still good.
Janet.
