Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Having grown lemon cukes for about 45 (cumulative) years (I'm the second
generation), I've found them to be about 10 to 15 days later than the
average slicing cucumber, even later than pickling cucumbers. They are
worth it and produce very well once they get going. Picking goes like this
- two cukes the first picking. One or two days later, ten cukes. Next
picking, half a five gallon bucket. Etc., until you haul buckets out by the
cartload. But use them when they are YOUNG - once there is any orange on
the skin, they are going to be TOUGH. They are also the best out-of-hand
cucumber ever (wipe them off, crunch into them).
