Re: cover crops

We use a lot of annual rye for cover crop. I also use it in the garden I
coordinate for our church's hunger program. Plant it between the rows and
then mow it off weekly with the lawn mower. So much quicker than weeding
everything. As my growing season comes to an end and we have finished
harvesting a raised bed I plant annual rye and just leave it alone until
spring. Great weed control and looks nice too. Deany, zone 4/WI
