Yup-= you can even get it in the grocery- works great sprinkled in the
cupboards for roaches(eeek!)-you can sprinkle mule team boraxo( main
ingredient-boric acid)on the carpets and kill fleas- it works like
diotomaceous earth- I believe- something about roughing up their exoskeltons
and then they dehydrate to death- but since it IS a poison- don't think I
would use it in the garden-of course- I could be all wet. I am sticking with
the diluted solution of simple green- I put 1/2 teaspoon in a quart of
water- spray it on and then wash it off in about 5 minutes- hope it doesn't
kill me.Use to drink bubble bath when I was little and I survived that so I
am optomistic.Plain old dishsoap in water does a number on aphids. I am not
infested- so these methods work well for me-We don't have fire ants here-
thank goodness-just lots of wasps and yellow jackets- they are building a
nest in one of my compost pile and I am afraid to go near it- could use some
suggestions on how to deal with that!_Teri
