Re: Pole Beans & Corn

Jim- Lois Hole, a noted nursery owner, suggests we just pinch off the top
of bean/pea vines to keep them on a reachable height in the garden. She says
pinching off indeterminate tomatoes is fine too. I intend to manage my vines
this way as soon as they get to growing... lol!

Have a great day,
bill missen.

| I should not have planted them both at the same time right? So what
can
| I do now? The pole beans are taller than the corn. Should I just ignore
it
| and wind the beans around the corn later? Or could I cut the top of the
| pole beans when the second set of leaves come on? They look healthy.
Both
| the corn and the pole beans.
