Well, it didn't work. The fruit dried up. Next time I won't waste my time
trying to pollinate with old flowers. I guess I can cut the fruit as soon as
the flower closes and eat it. Small, but it's something. Next year I'll have
more than one plant so hopefully this won't be a problem again.
