Square Foot Gardening List - http://myweb.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
First I want to say thank you for taking the time to give some input on
making cages. Haven't had time to implement or even say thank you as we
are all broken out in chicken pox at our house ... my oldest son first,
and now three other children all at once. Not much garden time, but
this too shall pass.
I can't seem to find in the sfg book about how pole beans actually climb.
Do they need help, or do they climb on their own? I have the frames in
place, and the bottom string across, but haven't yet tied on the vertical
strings. I have bean plants on either side of the string, so do they
each use one string to climb? Do I twist them around? They are about 3
inches tall right now, so I am going to need to get those strings up in
the next few days.
Thanks!
Deb
