For those of you lucky enough to live along a coastal shore I recommend
going to take a dunk in the ocean if you are having an allergic reaction
to poison ivy. The minerals and salts in the ocean are extremely
beneficial, they'll dry out the ooze almost overnight. 

My brother is super allergic and we were told by our Doctor (eons ago)
to take him to the ocean and let him swim in the water for as long as he
liked. I have to say that this remedy has worked time and time again
over the years for our family.
