        I suspect that if there is any effect it is from the nitrogen in air
(70%) rather than from either oxygen or CO2. Even if it were O2, any O2
in the water would be either filtered out or outgassed from the water
before much got absorbed. I could see at a stretch some bacteria
absorbing the Nitrogen and passing it on to the plants.
        I would be interested in the controls of this experiment before
bothering to aerate any water.
