Green Bean Problem/Help

Dear List Members:

I'm hoping someone can help me with a green bean problem I seem to be having.
 The plants are about 8" high.  Leaves are starting to wither, with some of
the leave looking greyish and very thin.  The edges of the leaves are dried
and curling.  I've planted Burpee Green Crop and Burpee Brittle Wax.  I used
innoculant from Burpee when planting.  The leaves affected are neither the
oldest or the newest....the middle ones.  Weather has been cool until last
week when it was rather hot all of a sudden.  Rain has been no existent, but
I have been watering.

The dirt is new and is composed of all the ingredients listed in Mel's book.

Any ideas???Thanks!
