Dear John, Down here in Texas we can plant either in the spring or fall. In Michigan I'm not so sure you can plant in the fall and have them survive well through the winter. Perhaps someone else may have better information about that. I have never had nay trouble being able to order plants for fall planting from those who are in the business of selling plants through the mail. Perhaps someone on the list would have the address of a supplier. Most of the varieties in the catalouge I have are for zones 7.5-10.
