Yeah, you don't want to put too much mulch over seeds. I usually use
something to keep the mulch off the area directly over the seeds.
	I wanted to mulch heavily over my corn, so I used small ceramic pots. For
radishes and such I put down the mulch, wiggle a spot open, then plant.
	Everytime I have not been diligent in keeping the mulch off the seeds,  I
have not gotten the sprout.
